One of characteristics of the cable is the Aluminium alloy armouring to protect
the cores.Traditionally, there are three types of armouring for protecting cable: steel
wire armour and metal wire braiding.Steel tape armour can protect cable from radial
pressure and steel wire armour can bear pulling force. Both of the two armours can
keep cable cores from mechanical damage, but its bending property is poor. The braid-covered
cable is good in bending but not enough for protecting.
Interlock armour synthesizes the advantages of three kinds of armouring. however interlock armoured cable not limit on these advantages, the cable has more excellent properties in practical application. The cable can be developed many series products according to the function of its cores. The cable can be used for power transmission and distribution if we design power cores for it. If the control cores is put in it,the cable can control machine and apparatus. Using data cores, the cable is a LAN cable to connect computers and server . Using communication cores or optical fiber, the cable would be used for connecting telephone and fax machine. If we design different cores for the interlock armoured cable, it will be a composite cable with multiple function to achieve power transmission , control , communication and connecting computer network. The cable core also can be designed according to running and environment temperature or different rated voltage by using different insulation materials. Over the |

armour, the cable can be extruded a layer of outer sheath with or without function of flame retardant as per the requirement from customers. |
Control cable |
The interlock armoured cable designed for building can be installed in wall, in wireway or installed as open wiring. The cable is installed easily with conventional tools without suing any special one.The flexible cable can be installed under many conditions, even turned at an angle of near 900 at the corner formed by two walls. Normally cables or wires must be protected by metal or non-metal pipe, however the cable has own protection-interlock armour, does not require a pipe for protection. It means less waste, less to clean up, and more time to be saved at the tail-end of any project, which is very important factor especially under the situation that manpower cost is gradually going up. We can see from above description that the interlock armoured cable is easy in installation and safety in operating. If the cable is installed in an equipment, it will ensure the equipment operating value-added for the product. |
Interlock armoured cables are installed indoors |
